Another Spirit of Gravity release has been launched on bandcamp – Satellites by WASPS 

WASPS are Andrew Greaves and Dan Powell, both members of the Spirit of Gravity music collective. ‘Satellites’ is their first release as WASPS. Its three tracks use found objects and understated layering of digital and analogue synths to create atmospheric pieces of great economy and beauty. There is abstraction, fragmentary melodies, and plenty of light, shade, and space.

The germ of the album was sown with successful, largely improvised live collaborations at the Rose Hill and, under the Spirit of Gravity banner, at the Rossi Bar. ‘Satellites’ too was mostly improvised, and was recorded in a single day at ChiffChaff Studios in Brighton in late 2025. The duo then spent the long winter evenings mixing the recordings.
