Athina B: The sounds of twilight, halfway between dream & memory
Jilk: Ambient glitch, jazz & emotive melodic ashes
Baltic Snake Cult: deep bass drift
Named for a Brighton shipwreck and a fragment of a Slum of Legs lyric, Athina B are a band playing from the liminal spaces – capturing the sounds of twilight, halfway between dream and memory where birds are caught midflight, lit by a setting sun. Helmed by local favourites YOU&TH and R. Dyer, with occasional guests and passers through, they turn found sounds, layered violin, bells, polyrhythms, harps, chants and charms into semi-improvised paeans to time and life and joy. With only a few performances to their name, they’ve already built a reputation for riveting performances and incredible on-stage chemistry. Not to be missed.

Jilk – (previous releases; Cue Dot Records, Castles In Space, Project Mooncircle and Bricolage) are a Bristol based experimental collective.
This specially written show for Spirit Of Gravity will explore the intersection between ambient glitch, experimental, jazz infused drumming and emotive melodic washes.
Baltic Snake Cult – deep bass drift down the infinite corridors of the endless scroll. Dumb research, dubious methods.
